Shine

This is my shine project. This was a fun project that showed how make a false reflection of an object in the image. I feel this project was really successful and convincing  the viewer to believe it truly is an actual reflection of of the apple. What worked well with this project was the canvas sizing tool that allowed to scale and line up the copied image of the apple and the gradient tool that overlapped then colored over the image and made it look faded and reflective. If i were to do this project over i would have used a different object in the image other than the apple. I learned from this project how to create a convincing reflective image by simply making a copy then altering it.

Colorize

This is my Colorized dancer project. This project was so far my favorite and the most fun to do. I feel this was one of my best works mostly for the fact there was a little chance for one to actually fail doing it correctly. What worked really well for this project was the Threshold and Blur tools that allowed the colors to shade and smoothen on the picture so the colors would appear to blend in the image. From this project i learned how to do better color overlays onto images in a certain way

Animal Splatter

This is my animal splatter project. I think i did well overall on this project. i feel my work is mildly succesful beacause i didn't getthe splattered paint to look more realistic on the animal. What really worked well with this project was the warp tool as it helped to better scale the splatter image onto the animal and make it appear to wrap around the animal more naturally. What didn't work was a previous picture i tried to use but could not correctly warp the splatter image on it proportionally. If i were to do this project over i would consider using a different animal of a more lighter and antural color and a darker and more widespread splatter image to better cover the animal with. The most difficult part was deciding which animal it would have been the easiest to put a splattered image onto. I learned about different layering modes and how they can better make one image lie ontop of one another to make a fictional edited image look more realistic.

Picture Frame project

This is the picture frame project where you take an empty picture frame and use photoshop to make ot appear as if an object of your choosing is popping out of it. Overall i like the idea i had for my project and believe it turned out pretty well considering the numerous mistakes i made during the process because it looks exactly how i planned it to and looks semi convincing. What really worked the best for this project was the magic wand and transforming tool that allowed me to seperate and better postion the edited frame image. If i were to do this project over i would have used a dinosaur head instead or have held the frame so it looked like i was stepping out of the frame and had a background inside the frame as well.

Bkool's Frog Tongue

The Frog Tongue is my second photoshopped editing of two different images. overall  this project was little bit more difficult but fun to do so i feel that i did really well in my ability to complete this project. I feel the project was done successfully from me as well becuase of how i followed the process to make the image with little problems and how realistic it looks. What really helped during the project was the clone, magic wand, and shading tools that allowed me to edit the picture by taking the parts of the frog i wanted and clone from the tongue allowed it to look as if it was apart of it then shading made it look as if it was actually hovering there. If i could do the project over i would try and better use the cloning of the tongue on the frog so it matches the color better as well as the hardness of the shadow. The most difficult part was properly using the clone tool to properly paint over the frog layer so it matched with the parts of the tongue it didn't cover. I learned from this that editing images in photoshop is fun and a good way to use your imagination to improve a photo

BKool's angry pancakes

The angry pancake is the result of my first photoshopped editing of two different images. overall  this project was fairly easy but fun to do so i feel that i did really well in my ability to complete this project. I feel the project was done successfully from me as well becuase of how i followed the process to make the image with little problems and how realistic it looks. What really helped during the project was the liquify and the lasso tool that allowed me to distort the pancake and make room fo the mouth after cutting out the part of it i needed. If i could do the project over i would try to reduce the obvious parts of distortion in the picture and better smoothen the mouth to look more natural on the pancakes. Although the project was a ake walk, the only diffucult part was trying to properly cut out the mouth and not have any parts of the background of the original picture to show in he cut. I learned from this that editing images in photoshop is not as hard as i first thought.
